Travel Awards
Field Inclusive Travel Awards help support students (undergraduate, masters, doctoral, or postdoc), to attend a scientific conference, training, or workshop.

Two Field Inclusive Travel Awards ($2000) will be awarded to a student (undergraduate, masters, doctoral, or postdoc), to help attend a scientific conference, training, or workshop taking place in the Fall 2024 year.
The application deadline is August 1, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET.
Upon completion of travel, willingness to provide a photograph and a ~500-2000 write-up about what the award was used towards for the webpage is also a condition. Applicant should also anticipate requirements from award sponsors. Applicant may also be asked to present during a future #FieldInclusiveWeek.
In line with the goals of Field Inclusive, we strongly encourage applications from individuals with marginalized and historically excluded identities.
Eligibility
Applicants must attend an institution in the U.S. International students who attend an institution in the U.S. and/or have a U.S. bank account are eligible. Travel must take place in the U.S. Students outside of the U.S. are not eligible at this time.
To Apply
- Applicants must be current members of Field Inclusive. Become a member before applying.
- Fill out the Google Form below with all of the necessary information. Students should be prepared to upload a one page essay on how this award will help them, noting their financial need, and include a DEI statement. If awarded, be prepared to submit a .pdf of your accepted conference/workshop abstract or email of acceptance.
- Please Note: Travel must take place between September 1st and December 31st.

An applicant can only be awarded one Field Inclusive Travel Award throughout their lifetime.
An applicant cannot pair a FI travel award with a travel award from another organization.
